This 'Lieutenants' Komandirskie, (лейтена́нт) (Leytenánt),
model has a blue dial with Polished Chrome hands, dial markings, Compass Bezel and case.
The word lieutenant derives from French; the lieu meaning "place" as in a position; and tenant meaning "holding" as in "holding a position"; thus a "lieutenant" is somebody who holds a position in the absence of his superior.
The face of the watch has Three Red Stars in triangular pattern. The top star represents the Soviet Red Star while the two either side are smaller and represent the Lieutenants insignia.The strap is made from high quality leather and is trimmed with cream leather on the inside and and is black on the outside. This model is quite unique and uncommon and has classic Vostok appeal.
