Major General is a military rank used in many countries. It is derived from the older rank of Sergeant Major General. A major general is a high-ranking officer normally subordinate to a Lieutenant General and senior to a Brigadier General. In countries which do not maintain the rank of Brigadier General, Major General normally serves as the first and junior-most General rank.
The face of the watch has a single Red Star. This star represents the Soviet Red Star and is also the insignia of a Major General.The strap is made from high quality leather and is trimmed with cream leather on the inside and and is black on the outside.
