This 'Senior Lieutenants' (ста́рший лейтена́нт) (Stárshiy leytenánt) Komandirskie model has a White dial with Polished Chrome hands, dial markings, Engraved Bezel and case. A truly lovely watch that is had to find and quite rare.
A Lieutenant is a military, paramilitary or police officer. The word lieutenant derives from French; the lieu meaning "place" as in a position; and tenant meaning "holding" as in "holding a position"; thus a "lieutenant" is somebody who holds a position in the absence of his superior.
The face of the watch has Three Red Stars in triangular pattern symbolising the Senior Lieutenants insignia.The strap is made from high quality leather and is trimmed with cream leather on the inside and and is black on the outside. This model is quite unique and uncommon and has classic Vostok appeal.
